Thing to Bring To a Pet Shoot
Creating perfect portraits for your pet requires both technical knowledge and cooperation between the owner and the photographer. As a pet owner, you need to understand every requirement to bring to the session. If in doubt, always check with your photographer before you pack.

Toys and Treats During the Pet Portraits
Pets are naturally cheeky and stubborn. You will want to control their behavior for you to have your way. There is now an easy and more effective way to do that than using positive reinforcement. You can carry some toys to keep your pet busy and allow your photographers to have the best angles and poses. As for treats – bring treats that are small and easily chewable.
Poop Bags and Rag If They Drool
The sanitary part is what most pet owners forgot when they go for photoshoots. Sometimes meeting new people and going to unfamiliar places triggers some level of excitement, which can leave your dog to answer the call of nature unexpectedly. It would be best to carry a spare bag just in case you will need it. If your dog frequently drools, then ensure you come with a rag.

Outfits for the Pet Portraits
Depending on preferences, you can get fancy and stylish with your furry friend. Thrown in a few outfits and clothing plus some extras; accessories, ties, and bows are cute. Try to be creative in this sector and find your pet something that matches its complexion, size, and structure. You could also bring with you a brush or grooming kit to make them presentable in between shots.
A tie-out stake
Whether you carry a tie-out stake or not will depend on two things; your pet’s personality and where you are going to have the pet portrait shoot session. If you intend to shoot from a sandy beach or open grass fields, you will have to stick your stake to the ground.
