Meet Amaze, Salt, & Fern.
Wow, aren’t these three just BEAUTIFUL?! 😍 It’s not every day that a pet portrait session in our downtown studio turns into a TRIO session, but we’re so pleased when it does! We obviously really, really love dogs here at Pet Photos by Olin – and what’s better than a single cute doggy? THREE!
These sweet babies belong to Karen, a wonderful dog mom & trainer. She treats her babes like royalty – just look at those looks of adoration on these cute faces!
Border Collie BFFs
From the American Kennel Club website:
Borders are athletic, medium-sized herders standing 18 to 22 inches at the shoulder. The overall look is that of a muscular but nimble worker unspoiled by passing fads. Both the rough coat and the smooth coat come in a variety of colors and patterns.
The almond eyes are the focus of an intelligent expression—an intense gaze, the Border’s famous “herding eye”, is a breed hallmark. On the move, Borders are among the canine kingdom’s most agile, balanced, and durable citizens.
The intelligence, athleticism, and trainability of Borders have a perfect outlet in agility training. Having a job to perform, like agility—or herding or obedience work—is key to Border happiness. Amiable among friends, they may be reserved with strangers.
Amaze and Salt are no strangers to their athleticism! Regular agility competitors and visitors of the Two Rivers Agility Club dog agility and tracking club in Sacramento, they’re used to showing off their stuff. And what good stuff it is! These little sweeties behave beautifully for their handler, and we were in love from the first second we set our eyes on them. Our pet portrait session was a breeze!
Amaze and Salt’s best buddy Fern also stopped by, and we loved seeing the trio interact with one another. Their smiling faces, excitement, boundless energy, and happy tail wags just made us feel so warm and fuzzy inside! Eager for pets and love, they have the ability to brighten any room they enter. We’re so glad we could spend some time with these cuties!
